PLOT TO KILL US VOGUE EDITOR?
She is the woman who Meryl Streep based her character on in the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and what would fashion be without our favourite lady of the front row? The American Vogue editor, Anna Wintour, is known to many in the fashion industry for her envious job and icy personality. Naturally, she has created many enemies throughout her successful career. One of them, a former fashion writer who is currently on a sexual assault and kidnapping trial. As revealed on a computer disc found in his backpack when arrested, he had plans to kill our beloved ice maiden because he felt that she had the attitude of a queen bee. Why couldn’t he just throw a cream pie – like the anti-fur activists in 2005 – and get it over and done with?

HAUTE HOTELS
If you love the fashion designer, you'd certainly love to stay at one of their hotels. And guess what? They know it and they keep building more of these luxurious havens. Walk into Palazzo Versace in Queensland, Australia and if you could pack everything in your suitcase to take it home, you would. Well, don't go unscrewing any bathroom taps like one unmentioned radio host did because you can't use them and they probably wouldn't let you visit again. What is beautiful is the attention to detail combined with luxury and style. It looks and feels like paradise. Many big names such as Giorgio Armani, Christian Lacroix, Ralph Lauren, Moschino and Bulgari have also attached their names to hotels. Expect to see more designers doing the same over the next few years and keep a close eye on Dubai.

CHINESE HACKERS ATTACK FASHION HOUSES
A report in the current edition of Gnosis magazine (published by SISDE, Italy's Intelligence Agency) has revealed that organised groups of Chinese hackers are targeting Western fashion houses in an attempt to find information and details of their designs so, they can counterfeit their products before the genuine ones are even in stores. This is alarming for all designers around the globe and better security measures need to be adopted as internet crime will just keep growing.

SUPER DONATELLA
Donatella Versace is a superwoman. Whenever I look at what she's up to, there seems to be a new challenge in her life. Just as the ten year anniversary of her brother Gianni's passing is approaching, her daughter Allegra is battling anorexia, the serious and sometimes fatal eating disorder. While dealing with the media about her daughter's public illness and the fears that any mother would have for their child's wellbeing, she just soldiers on. She is planning a memorial tribute to Gianni at La Scala, she is designing the next Versace spring collection and has released her new women's fragrance called "Versace".

WILL PARIS DO THE TIME?
Socialite Paris Hilton was charged in the US with a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) for drunk driving and while on probation she decided to get behind the wheel. She stated that she wasn't aware that she could not drive for work purposes as she doesn't read her paperwork or mail herself but the judge was having none of it and sentenced her to 45 days behind bars from June 1, 2007. Evidently upset, she is now collecting signatures from fans who believe she doesn't look good in the - colour-of-the-moment - tangerine jumpsuit, in her hope to be pardoned by the Governor of California, Arnold "The Terminator" Schwarzenegger.

WAYFARERS MAKE A COMEBACK
The Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses were introduced in 1952 and they have been worn throughout the decades by people such as Audrey Hepburn, The Blues Brothers, Madonna and Tom Cruise. For those who remember the eighties, they were a "must have" accessory and if you didn't own a pair, you simply weren't cool enough. If you're still dealing with these issues from your past, here's your chance to heal. Ray-Ban has re-launched them and you can purchase them immediately.
