Big Boats and Bad Fashion
The 32nd Americas Cup is hosted by Valencia, Spain for the first time ever. They built a new marina and shops as they have estimated that over a million people will visit the city to watch the regatta. Yesterday, Emirates Team New Zealand swept past Italy’s Luna Rossa Challenge to win in the Final of the Louis Vuitton Cup. This lead up event has now set up an America’s Cup re-match between the Emirates squad and Alinghi, the Defender of the trophy.
Clearly, there is a lot of money floating around but that has never helped the big boys with the big toys. With high waistlines, multiple patterns and colour co-ordinates that could scar people for life, I feel that Trinny and Susannah need to make this trip urgently. Why is it that boaties get it so wrong? Why can´t we have Fashion Police charging them with Fashion Crime?
