The Story

Australia has some of the best beaches on the planet. The coastline stretches close to 37,000 km and when the coastal islands are added, it amounts to more than 47,000 km. Most of Australia's population lives within an hour of the coastline. This is the reason why the beach has a special place in our hearts and our Australian identity. With almost 11,000 beaches and frequent visits since childhood, we wore thongs from the morning til the night.

Rubber thongs are an Australian icon and a part of our lives, filled with precious memories. As a young girl, I always had a pair of red thongs. My mother argues that they never came off my feet. I can't take you back in time to experience the old beach culture but I created this colourful line of thongs with love, passion and nostalgia to share with you the beauty of my home country.

It's a touch of Australia, from me to you.

This colour was named after Cottesloe Beach, the premier beach spot in Perth, Western Australia which is only a 15 minute drive from the city. Known for its crystal clear waters and its regular swell, it is a popular spot for swimming, fishing, body-boarding and surfing.

Whitehaven - The Bridal Thongs

One side of Manly has the surf beach while the other has an inner harbour beach with serene waters. It boasts Sydney's famous surf school for learners but with several water activities and a long stretch of cafes, it's the perfect hangout for friends and family on weekends.

Byron Brown

This colour was inspired by Byron Bay which is located on the easterly point of the Australian continent in Northern New South Wales. The area is mostly known for its alternative and relaxed lifestyle. Byron Bay's Main Beach is famous for it's soft sand, turquoise sea and surfing breaks. It is family friendly and in the summer months, the famous sand castles are created on the beach. They're made only of sand and water but the process requires much skill and takes 6 hours to complete.
